ABOUT THE PROJECT

We’re looking for a strong software engineer who is genuinely excited about AI and learns fast. You don’t need to be an AI specialist yet, but you’ve demonstrated the ability to pick up new domains quickly and have already been exploring AI through projects, courses, or contributions.You’ll work directly with the Head of AI Competency, who will provide technical mentorship while you grow into an AI engineering role. This is an opportunity to build real AI systems while developing deep expertise.

YOUR ROLE

Build internal AI tools and prototypes under guidance;
Learn and apply GenAI patterns (RAG, agents, workflows) on real projects;
Contribute to AI-assisted engineering initiatives across the organization;
Evaluate and experiment with new AI tools and frameworks;
Grow into owning AI projects end-to-end as you develop expertise.

REQUIREMENTS

4-6 years of software engineering experience;
Experience with backend or systems engineering;
Knowledge of engineering practices (testing, code quality, version control);
Demonstrated interest in AI: personal projects, courses, or open-source contributions;
Experience with AI coding agents (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar);
Knowledge of AI-assisted development workflows and clear opinions on them;
Proficient in Python;
Fast learner who is comfortable with ambiguity;
B2+ level of English.

NICE TO HAVE

Some experience in building with LLMs (even personal projects);
Notion of ML concepts (doesn’t need to be deep);
Some experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
Contributions to open-source projects;
Notion of IoT, embedded systems, or data engineering domains.
