Senior DevOps Engineer (Real Estate)

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We develop a new genesis SAAS property management system in the domain of multifamily residential in the US. Built from scratch with heavy utilization of AWS infrastructure and managed services, non-trivial UI. 11+ development teams from 7 countries work on dozens of services, several web SPAs, and native mobile apps.

YOUR ROLE

• Design, deploy and maintain highly available (HA), fault-tolerant (FT) AWS infrastructure according to the AWS best practices/AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars;
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD and configuration management systems;
• Design, implement and improve logging, monitoring and alerting systems;
• Analyze and improve availability, efficiency, capacity, scalability, security and performance of existing solution;
• Automate build processes, software updates to streamline release management and setup quality gates to accelerate deployments;
• Write and maintain technical documentation;
• Cooperate with development teams and client representatives;
• Proactively supports other team members and helps them to be successful;
• Take part in Agile ceremonies (dailies, planning etc).

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent English (C1/B2++);
• 4+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps;
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Cloudfront, ASG, ELB, S3, SNS, SQS, Cloudwatch, etc);
• Proficient at Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Docker;
• Experience in SDLC automation for all software components in solution;
• Proficient at deploying, securing, administering of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Experience with scripting languages (bash/python);
• Proficient at Infrastructure as Code development (Terraform);
• Knowledge of Linux.

NICE TO HAVE

• 2+ years of experience working with live production systems;
• Experience with AWS Organizations/AWS Landing Zones;Experience in SOC2 compliance assessment would be a big plus
• Experience with logging (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) tools and techniques;
• Experience with service mesh (Istio);
• Experience with Lambda (Python);
• Knowledge of OSI model.
