Senior QA Automation Engineer (HVAC)

YOUR ROLE

• Cooperate with development team and client representatives;
• Understand the product technologies and implementation;
• Understand product business value, be able to challenge and/or enhance incoming requirements;
• Analyze business requirements and specifications, create test scenarios based on them;
• Define and maintain test strategy;
• Perform risks analysis and adjust on test process;
• Write and manage e2e integration automated tests, maintain advanced features of test framework;
• Maintain CI/CD jobs and pipelines;
• Follow clean code principles to write concise code, proficient with SOLID and design patterns;
• Proactively supports other team members and helps them to be successful;
• Setup and coordinate code review process within QA Automation team;
• Take part in Agile ceremonies (dailies, planning etc).

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience with live production systems;
• Knowledge of SDLC and QA process, be able to shape the QA process according to needs of the project;
• Knowledge of QA role in Scrum process;
• Proficient with functional and regression testing;
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript;
• Proficient in Mocha / Jest;
• Proficient in AWS;
• Proficient in testing of GraphQL and REST APIs;
• B2+ level of English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with JIRA / Bitbucket / CircleCI / SonarCloud / AWS serverless technologies;
• Experience with AWS CDK and Cloud Formation;\
• Experience in API testing tools (Postman, Fiddler, Charles);
• Experience in Linux configuration and bash scripting;
• Experience in Backend development;
• Experience with Node.JS.
